Habakkuk 1:6-10

6For behold, I am araising up the Chaldeans,
That
Lit bitter
fierce and impetuous people
Who march
Lit the breadth of
throughout the earth
To
Lit take possession of
,
eseize dwelling places which are not theirs.
7They are dreaded and ffeared;
Their gjustice and
Lit eminence
authority
Lit proceeds from
originate with themselves.
8“Their jhorses are swifter than leopards
And
Or more eager to attack
keener than lwolves in the evening.
Their
Or steeds paw the ground
horsemen come galloping,
Their horsemen come from afar;
They fly like an neagle swooping down to devour.
9All of them come for violence.
Or The eagerness of their faces
Their horde of pfaces moves forward.
They collect captives like sand.
10“They qmock at kings
And rulers are a laughing matter to them.
They rlaugh at every fortress
And sheap up rubble to capture it.
